Red Peak Design
Red Peak Design are a new subsidiary of a larger company that has stripped back it’s processes to make their clients the centre of their world. The story behind the brand is that founder, Steve Large wanted to merge his passion for adventure, partically the fun memories of climbing the Scottish Red Peak mountain range, with the precision of his over 30 years experience in the exhibition design industry.
How did we do it?
An open ended brief gave us the opportunity to explore the exhibition design industry from a design and business point of view. Working with the client to create a set of mood boards gave us both a solid understanding of key elements of the visual brand such as the desired colour palette and how imagery will be used.
The final visual brand was based on the geographical lines that are found on maps, the one used in the main logo is a section of the Red Peak mountain range. This paired well with the fine lines that are used in the CAD/hand drawn renders of their exhibition designs.
The additional assets created for Red Peak Design included a fully responsive website that is image heavy to guarantee that the main focus of the site is to purely to enjoy their showcase. Intentionally using an alternative website layout makes this website more memorable than their competition. As well as minimally designed set business stationery. Working together they now have a strong visual identity that can easily grow as they continue to.
